Some engagement sessions feel like they belong in a movie.
Linds and Walker made the trip all the way from Texas to the Gulf Coast, and from the moment we started, everything about the evening felt effortless. Their session was playful, intentional, and full of the kind of moments that happen when two people are completely comfortable with one another.
One of my favorite parts of the day happened before we even met. On my drive to the session, I stopped at a local fruit stand and picked up a basket of Chilton County peaches as a little thank-you gift to welcome them to Alabama. It’s a small gesture, but I love finding ways to make every couple’s experience feel personal from the very beginning.
Throughout the evening, we photographed their story using nearly every medium I offer. Digital photographs, 35mm film, and Super 8 all came together to document this season of their lives in different ways. Each medium captures emotion a little differently, and together they create something that feels timeless.
As a Mobile, Alabama + traveling engagement photographer, these are the sessions I love most…the ones that aren’t about perfect poses, but about movement, laughter, quiet moments, and creating photographs that genuinely feel like your relationship.
