Hunter + Trae wanted their engagement photos to feel romantic, timeless, and authentic…which, conveniently, is pretty much my favorite combination.
Both nurses and local to the Mobile area, these two were so much fun to get to know and photograph. They have the kind of love that is incredibly easy to see, the little looks, the way they naturally fall into each other, and the fact that they are very clearly, madly in love.
We photographed their engagement session at the History Museum of Mobile, giving us the perfect mix of historic architecture and that slightly editorial, timeless feeling Hunter was looking for.
And thankfully, this isn’t the last time they’ll be in front of my camera. Hunter + Trae are getting married this December at Fort Condé in downtown Mobile, and after this session, I genuinely cannot wait to photograph the two of them as husbands.
